Pursue an Undergraduate Degree in Germany
Monday, February 11, 2019 7:00:00 PM CET - 8:00:00 PM CET
In this upcoming webinar, find out more about available opportunities to pursue an undergraduate degree in Germany.

In the first part of the webinar, DAAD representative Hanni Geist will provide you with general information on studying in Germany. Find out everything you need to know to make studying in Germany a reality, even if you don’t speak German.

In the second part, you will hear from two guest speakers:
Eva Bosbach, Executive Director of the University of Cologne New York Office, will introduce to you the University of Cologne and highlight what Cologne has to offer. Here is what Eva has to say: “Come to study at the University of Cologne in Germany with a fast-track preparatory course that guarantees you a spot in a Bachelor’s program! The fast-track ‘Studienstart International plus’ includes an individual schedule for each student, German language courses, selected courses from your chosen degree program, excursions, a Buddy program and a seamless transition to your subsequent study towards a Bachelor’s degree. Attendees will also learn in general about the University and City of Cologne.”

Patrizia Nobbe, Executive Director, UAS7 – 7 German Universities of Applied Sciences, will give you an overview of the Universities of Applied Sciences. Patrizia: “The presentation will provide an overview of undergraduate study opportunities in Germany. We will focus on the German university network UAS7, which consists of seven German universities of applied sciences in major German cities and economically strong regions, including Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Bremen, Cologne, Osnabrück and Muenster. After discussing the strong career advantages of studying at a university of applied science versus a more traditional research university (hint: better employment options right out of college), we will present summaries of the opportunities and strengths of each university of applied sciences in turn: the degrees offered, as well as fields of study and programs.”
